5 reasons 10th week can lick a dick

1. the obvoious you know, school work, impending finals, etc.
2. there has been no hot water in the 2nd floor bathroom for 3 days... a fact which no one besides myself seems to think is utterly ridiculous
3. orchestra... which is generally my beacon of hope and happiness... is wearing on my absolute last nerve thanks to a lack of david becker and some supremely obnoxious musical selections
4. current weather in dallas, tx: 70 degrees and sunny. current weather in appleton, wi: 12 degrees and snowing.
5. the first 4 should suffice but just to make this 10th week extra special the appleton police department decided to impound my car - this means i have to pay $864.95 IN CASH to get my sorry little jetta back. in cash... i'll repeat... IN CASH. fuck you appleton.

5 reasons things are looking up

1. daylight savings time is on sunday. yes.
2. last week in orchestra we coined the phrase "rock out with your bach out".
3. matt's going away party on saturday complete with booze and sambistas
4. in 11 days i'll be in dallas with kate. there will be sunshine, a pool, dogs, a floatie shaped like an apollo era command module, and no one and nothing associated with Appleton, WI. thanks be to god.
5. i realized today that i have attended every class all term... what a revolution.

the only activity i can think to partake in that will ease a sudden urge to commit a large scale act of arson is a shower and several episodes of Colonial House. yes the pbs reality show- think real world in the 17th century. bc at least i'm not subsisting on a diet of muskrat meat and salted peas. so here's to a wasted tuesday afternoon during 10th week. what a hell hole.
