i could buy every product The North Face - like the coat company - sells. mostly my obsession centers around thenorthface.com/na/ (the "na" stands for North America). the past several nights have been spent in front of my computer, listening to muse - mostly - and obsessing over the infinte number of varieties and forms of ungodly cool outdoorsy products they offer to me, as a customer. for some reason i cant stop myself from desperately desiring, for instance, the womens "Apex Bionic Jacket - Summit Edition", and come to think of it that "Windwall Ladyhawk Thermal Jacket" is also looking pretty good. mostly my obsession centers around fleece. i love fleece. i own more fleece than anyone who grew up in texas should own in five lifetimes. sure now i'm up north but it is definitely still verging on "over the top". and listen, dont get me started on the tents and sleeping bags. i would love to have it all. i dont even know what i would do with it. maybe someday i'll buy it all under the guise that i'm going to take up camping as a hobby. sure i might go on a few trips, exciting - but i feel like it wouldnt last and i'd be reduced to sleeping on my mattress in my $649 "Inferno" sleeping bag or pitching my astronomically priced tent different places around campus. the plantz hall parking lot perhaps? and i wouldnt move my tent in the morning - this act would double as a non violent protest against campus parking rules.
i dont even remember why i started this entry.
