for the past 3 days one of the volunteers in the 1st & 2nd grade classroom has brought her cat to camp with her. in a bag. where she keeps it all day. the adults kept hearing the kids talking about a cat being at camp but figured the kids were just mildly delusional/really taking the lessons on imagination to heart. turns out it's just the volunteer who's delusional. i certainly never expected the adults to be more out of control than the 7 year olds but --- keeping your cat in a bag for 7 hours while volunteering at a camp is straight up crazy.
